in Taekwondo of South Korea, to support the development and promotion of Taekwondo in the United States.“
On November 19, 2021, at 4 p.m., President Lee visited Trump’s residence at the Mar-a-Lago Resort in Palm Beach,
Florida, where he presented Trump with an honorary 9th Dan certificate and a Taekwondo uniform.
At that time, President-elect Trump said, "Receiving this honorary certificate is very special and an honor for me.
